A dinner reception for current and potential team captains. Rally type event with entertainment and ideas for getting a team together. Corporate name/logo can be attached to team packets, if timely. Expected Attendance: 250 Corporate and Community Leaders

Pledge-a-thon
April 2007

Celebrity run-off on treadmills(s). Participants will pledge to walk/run on a treadmill until their goal is reached. To be conducted at high visibility locations with radio and television promotions. Local celebrities will compete. High Media Exposure

Survivor's Celebration
May 2007

For the first time in 2006, the Survivor's Brunch was reinvented to a be a Survivor Reception and was held the week before the race instead of race day. This is a well attended event by both survivors and the media. There will be a program and entertainment. Expected Attendance: 1,000

Komen Sacramento Race for the Cure® requires over 500 dedicated volunteers. To show our appreciation on behalf of the Komen Affiliate, survivors and their loved ones, we provide a fun-filled event and thank you gift.
