Patti Teale is a native of Sacramento and fifth generation Californian. She has served as a volunteer Director for the Sacramento Affiliate since July 2005, and has previously been a long-time volunteer for the Race for the Cure Committee. In 2007 she enthusiastically stepped up and continues to hold the position of Committee Chair for the Sacramento Race for the Cure.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Recreational Administration and Masters of Arts in Special Education, Patti has spent many years working with children and adults with special needs. She has worked as a Resource Specialist in the Elk Grove Unified School District for the past twenty years. Currently, she is a mentor with the Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment Program.
Patti enjoys running, cycling and spoiling her faithful four-legged companion.
