Pattie Bastian is a native of Dixon, California and was recently elected to the Komen Sacramento Affiliate Board in September, 2007. In March of 1999 Pattie lost her eldest sister Maria to brain cancer. Since then Pattie felt that she wanted somehow to contribute to fighting the deadly disease.

Pattie has a bachelor’s degree in history and an associate’s degree in legal assisting. She has been employed by the State of California for eight years. She currently works for the California Board of Equalization as a Legal Secretary and previously worked for the Franchise Tax Board as a Legal Support Secretary. Prior to working for the State of California, Pattie worked in a boutique law firm in West Los Angeles as a Transactional/Civil Litigation secretary.
